But how tired are you really though?

sleep

One of the most common excuses I hear (and have personally made), is that someone was too tired to do something that day… but how tired really though?

Most of us would find that if there was a fire under our bed, we’d find the energy to get up…

How many times have you dug deep and got it done, then thought, oh I actually feel better for doing it and it’s woken me up?

Bingo.

Sometimes we do actually need the sleep… what I’m suggesting is that you really listen to your body, and learn to tell the difference between health and just plain old excuses!

Day 60: 90 Day Commitment Challenge with Danelle Delgado

sleep

Good lord, I am two thirds of the way through this challenge! Some days it feels like 90 days are passing faster than the blink of an eye, other days it feels more like a 365 day challenge, but either way, I will keep pushing!

Day 60 was one of the latter, and I was so tired when I got home, that I fell asleep on the couch not long after I was home and fed, and I’m told was giving encouraging one-liners in my sleep…

I hope you’re crushing it!

Day 42: 90 Day Commitment Challenge with Danelle Delgado

I don’t know if it’s the slightly warmer (although crazily inconsistent) weather, or if it’s just the more consistent schedule, but somehow I’ve been finding it much easier to get out of bed before the birds.

I mean, I thought I had a hard time adjusting to 4am starts… but the 3am weekday starts followed by losing another hour due to daylight savings, took considerably longer to adjust to. I realise most of this battle was probably mental, but nevertheless I knew it was worth it and perservered.

As for the rest of the day yesterday, it was a very busy one, working at both jobs, and then home to collapse into bed. Bliss.

I hope you’re smashing your goals today!

Day 11: 90 Day Commitment Challenge with Danelle Delgado

Yesterday was a busy day gearing up for the next week (at both jobs), and I collapsed in bed last night, to sleep the sleep of the motivated. That’s what I’m dubbing it. There may already be a phrase, and in fact I’m sure there is, but on this blog, we don’t worry too much about how other people are doing things.

The sleep of the motivated is the sleep you have when you have been grinding all day, have checked off everything you set out to do (and then some), and can sleep with satisfaction knowing you’ll do it all again tomorrow, and you’ll be THAT much closer to your dreams!

I hope you’re smashing your goals today!
