Monday’s motivational shout out goes out to all the soldiers grinding away on this Christmas Day. Emergency and medical staff, hospitality staff, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and so many more.
These people grind away, day in and day out, no matter what day it is. These are the true grinders worth recognising today!
I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas Day, no matter what you’re doing!
Are you wearing your life, or is it wearing you down?
You only get one life, go and get what you want, see what you want to see, and strut that catwalk of life.
So hit the pavement, hit the gym, hit the books, whatever it’s going to take to get there. You better work that life!
The gold is way down below, further down than you thought you could ever dig.
When you push yourself to the very edges of your comfort zone, or where you ever thought you could possibly get to. That’s when you find out what you’re made of, that you are capable of so much more than you thought, and find your own personal brand of magic.
So dig deep, dig all the way to the bottom, and then dig some more.
Kelly Cutrone is a publicist, author, producer, actress and reality TV star. She built her PR firm People’s Revolution from the ground up, and it’s now thriving in multiple cities.
She knows exactly who she is, and owns it. She follows her gut, and her heart (often against the advice of others) and stands up for what she believes is right without any apologies.
I’ve read that she’s a tough boss, with skyhigh standards, but for those who choose to work hard and take full advantage of their time with her are rewarded with in an invaluable mentorship.
Here are a couple snippets, although I feel they probably don’t do her essence justice!
Who motivates you?
Have a fantastic and productive day!
You CAN do it. You are capable of absolutely everything you heart and soul desires. We are all capable of amazing things, we just have to keep pushing goddamit!
You can have exactly what you want, but you have to start now. DON’T STOP until you get there.
I know my answer is yes.
Some think their answer to this question is a yes, but when the grind really gets going, they start to backpeddle.
This concept got me thinking today, because I have been soo incredibly guilty of this in the past, and yet right now I find myself in the middle of my busiest time of year, working from before sunrise to after sunset, half out of my mind, teetering on the edge of madness because I’m so tired, and I still know I don’t want to quit. If anything I want more… I just have to figure out how to make that happen.
I know, I know, it doesn’t sound very “healthy”…. You know what else isn’t healthy? Hating your life and where you find yourself, feeling the despair well up in you because you’re sitting in the middle of another social gathering you feel obliged to attend, trying to stop yourself thinking about how unhappy you are with where you life is, and how much work it’s going to take to turn it all around. At least I’m moving forward.
As painfully slow as I feel the progress is, I feel that it is in fact progress, and that I am moving in the right direction, at least for now.
So yes, I can in fact say that I do want it. I am 100% thirsty for success. What’s your answer? What do you want?
Have a fantastic and successful day today!
Everyone has their own list of songs that they can turn to when they need to get the blood moving, and get their head in the game. Whether it’s for the gym, a study playlist, or something you listen to while you work, you’ve probably got a list. Hell, if you’re anything like me, you probably have all sorts of playlists for different situations.
I like a lot of different kinds of music, but I’m largely a rock and metal girl. I think metal is incredibly misunderstood… it’s not all rage and chaos (although the stuff that is, is also often misunderstood). Some of it is positive, uplifting, and there is soo much incredible talent and hard work that goes into it.
Do you take a side glance at a piece of art in a gallery and expect to have understood everything about it? No. But I digress…
In no particular order, here are my top 10 motivational songs (I’ve linked them to some You Tube videos in case you’re up for a high-energy injection!):

It might be worth noting that not all these songs would be considered positive or uplifting by the masses, but I take what I need from them anyway, even if it’s just a bit of attitude, or pep in my step! This is also not an exhaustive list of motivating songs… obviously… there are soo many more but I had to stop somewhere!
Have a fantastic day!
