I definitely slept the sleep of the dead the night before, let me tell you… followed by a restorative yoga flow to ease my achy body from my cycle ride the day before!
It was a beautiful sunny day outside yesterday, and the outdoors were screaming at me to go for a walk in the sun, but work called louder and before I knew it, it was time to head home instead for a well deserved furball cuddle, and time to relax with my partner.
I’ve found that it’s what I love the most about this challenge, getting the hard stuff done first, then consistently getting my “reward time” at the end of the day, and relaxing with my little family knowing that I’ve given it my all! I used to feel soo guilty coming home and having to lose time with my partner because I still had things to do, but no more! It makes the 3 am starts worthwhile!
